Carmelitas

Fine restaurant with especially Catalan food in a mix of classic and modern style.
The service is good and the people create a relaxed ambiance.
Average 15 euros.

Self Naturista

This is the most famous vegetarian restaurant of Barcelona.
The serve a large range of tasty dishes and salads for a good price. The place looks a bit like a canteen.
Average 10 euros.

La Vaca Paca

This restaurant is very near Placa Cataluña and offers a full buffet of which you can eat as much as you want for 6,50 euros (!).
The food is both Spanish and international, of good quality and very well priced.
Average 6,50 euros. Recommended.

Laie Libreria Café

This is Barcelona's bookshop café. Downstairs there's a bookstore and upstairs a very good small restaurant with a literary atmosphere.
The restaurant has it´s own entrance. You can have an excellent lunch.
Average 12 euros. Recommended.

Sagardi

This is the best place for Basque Tapas in the city.
You just ask for a plate and take what you want, leave the toothpicks and pay at the end. The bar has a relaxed atmosphere and serves a good apple cider.
Recommended! Average 7 euros.
