Casa Batlló

The Batllo House was build by Gaudí in the early years of the 20th century for the family Battlo.
The outside of the house looks like a fairytale with the blue ceramic works and balconies like faces. The house is privately owned and therefore only partly open to the public.

Miró Park

This green park is situated just next to Plaza España. It is quiet with nice green areas, a sporting area and a library. In the sporting area there are always people playing football in the evenings.
There is also a large square with the famous statue of Miró "Woman with a bird on her head".

La Pedrera

This house was built by Gaudí for the Mila family between 1906 and 1910. The house is developed on the basis that a houses needs to be a natural, comfortable place to be.
For this reason you won't find a straight wall or staircase due to its round forms.

Parc Güell

This actual park was initially developed as a housing area for rich people outside the city by the family Güell with Gaudí as architect. However, the project was no success. Because of this we are left with a green park with some of the beautiful and strange architecture of Gaudí.
The park has nice views of the city.

Sagrada Familia

This not yet finished church is the most prominent work of Gaudí. Gaudí changed the whole concept of the church and created the most controversial church of the world.
It is being built with public contributions.
