< 1 2  [3] 4 5 6 7>

  Arc del Trionf
This Arc de Triumph was the main entrance of the world exhibition of 1888 in the Parc Ciutadella.
It was built by the architect Josep Vilaseca I Casanovas.

  The Beach
The boulevard and the beach of the old fishing village Barceloneta were developed for the Olympic Games of 1992.
The boulevard is very nice situated next to the old harbour. The beach functions like a park: it is beach in the city which can easily be reached by metro and bike. In the summer there is a really hip ambiance.

  Olympic Village
Modern harbour for tourism which was developed for the Olympic Games of 1992.
The Twin Towers are the landmarks of the area. The area has a tourist ambiance with the beach, shopping areas and discos and bars for the night.

  Maremagnum
Old harbour of Barcelona is situated at the end the Ramblas.
For the Olympic Games of 1992 it was partly redeveloped with a modern leisure area with shops, bars, cinemas and an aquarium.

  MNAC
The National Palace was build as the entrance building of the World Exhibition of 1929. It has one of the most famous Romans frescos of Europe and gives place to the National Catalonian Art Museum. In between Plaza EspaƱa and the National Palace lay the very surprising and romantic Magical Fountains, as well of the year 1929.
