Cancellation
1. If a client cancels his reservation at any time, a 20% cancellation fee of the total amount will be applied. This amount is NON refundable.
2. If a client cancels between 60-29 days, the cancellation charge will be 30% of the total amount.
3. If a client cancels between 28-14 days, the cancellation charge will be 50%.
4.If the client cancels between 14-0 days the cancellation charge will be 100%
It is strongly recommended that clients purchase travel insurance.
Any cancellation, including force majeure, must go by our clear and simple cancellation policy. If for any reason beyond our own control, including force majeure, Visit Barcelona S.L. should be unable to provide the client with the property he has booked, we do reserve the right to transfer him, upon agreement, to a similar property.
If the price of the substituted property is less, the difference will be reimbursed to the client, but if the price of the substituted property is higher, the difference will not be charged to the Client.
The company will always aim to assist our guest as much as we can, should a guest wish to change the date of the booking, or the number of people we will try to make this possible, as well as any last minute problems with plane delays etc. Our interest is to send all guests very happy back to their homes, so to return the following year with all their friends and family. In short we have a clear and strict cancellation policy, but will help where ever we can to make your very pleasant!
If, however, no agreement can be reached, both contractual parties are authorized to cancel the contract. Visit Barcelona S.L. will refund to the Client all monies paid.

We do require a deposit to hold your reservation and the amount will depend on the length of your booking, the number of people and the time for which you wish to book, you can also choose to pre pay your entire booking with Visa or MasterCard, or you can wire a part or the total booking amount to our bank. For short reservations of 4 days or less we will frequently ask for a full pre-payment using your Visa or MasterCard and also during great events or festivals this may be required. (Easter, Christmas, Merce Festival etc…) As deposit we do require a signed Visa Card slip that will be destroyed if the apartment is returned in good conditions. We have a 50€ cleaning fee for all bookings. As we, Visit Barcelona S.L., are managing this apartment we must charge a service tax of 16 % by Spanish law, on the part of the deposit only. So for a deposit of 100 Euros we would charge an extra 16 Euro tax, which would make it a total of 116 Euros. The balance of the reservation is due before or on arrival. We recommend that you pay the balance due prior to arrival using our online payment system or calling our offices to authorize a credit card charge. A failure to pay before or on arrival may lead to you being unable to take possession of your apartment.

As a client, you are expected to respect the house rules that pertain to the apartment and the community it belongs to. The apartment may not be used as a party space but that of an accommodation for sleeping, eating, relaxing, etc. We emphasize that you look at the house rules thoroughly in order to avoid any future problems. Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona.
1. Parties are not allowed.
2. Silent hours: Monday - Friday 10 pm to 9 am,
Saturday - Sunday 12 midnight to 10 am
3. Respect the noise level when in the staircase.
4. Please don’t leave the key in the lock, always lock the apartment door securely behind you, and remember to always close the building door.
For special events we have a 3-7 night minimum (depending on the event) and a surcharge:

Dear tenant,
Visit Barcelona S.L. welcomes you to this fantastic city. Our aim is that you have a fantastic stay!
We strongly recommend you inform us of any problems or complaints IMMEDIATELY. This will help us to offer you good customer service and solve the problems promptly. We are not responsible for any claims reported after the guests stay.
As a client, you are expected to respect the house rules that pertain to the apartment and the community it belongs to. The apartment may not be used as a party space but that of an accommodation for sleeping, eating, relaxing, etc. Please look at the house rules thoroughly in order to avoid any problems. Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona.
1. Please don’t smoke in the apartment. Smoke on the terrace or outside and please do not throw cigarette butts down into the street or patios.
2. Please respect our neighbors - normal working people who need to get up early and go to work every day so please respect the noise levels in the stairwells as well as in the apartments. Parties are not allowed, the same applies to LOUD music!!
Quiet hours:
Monday - Friday 22.00 to 9.00
Saturday - Sunday 24.00 to 10.00
3. Please turn off the air-conditioning (if you have it in your apartment, there is an icon displayed on each individual apartment page) or lights when you leave the apartment; we try to keep prices low and would like to conserve energy.
4. Tourist tip: please lock the doors securely behind you and only take what you need with you for the day as there are professional pick pockets in most tourist areas.
5. Please do not leave the garbage in the apartment when you check out. You can leave it on the street every night between 20.00 – 22.00 pm, and it will be collected by sanitation personnel.
6. Please note that the check out time is at 11:00 as we need to clean the apartment from 11:00 to 15:00 prior to the next check-in (15.00 is the normal check in time)to page top |
