Can Majó

Very well known restaurant in the culinary community of Barcelona and a favourite of many chefs.
The speciality is seafood which couldn't be another because of it's location in Barceloneta, close to the beach. Recommended.
Average 20 euros.
C. Almirall Aixada 23

El Salón

With it´s antique sofas and mirrors El Salon seems like a 16th century Bohemian living room. The kitchen is good, a Catalan base with a French influence.
Average 25 euros.

Jean-Luc Figueras

This is one of the jewels of the city. The restaurant did win many awards for the quality of the food.
The restaurant is located in a 19th century Neo classic palace house with a refined furniture. Figueras is a very good and inventive chef who combines the French and Catalan kitchen.
Average 55 euros. Highly recommended.

Good restaurant, with beautiful furniture in a trendy ambience.
The restaurant has a display of paintings by different artists.
Average 20 euros.

Il Mercante di Venezia

Good Italian restaurant just around the corner of Placa Real.
It offers good, traditional Italian food and is tastefully decorated.
Average 25 euros.
