Keep them Happy: Tips for Traveling with Kids

Oh Barcelona. The beach. The nightlife. The Ferris wheel? While many people feel the citys lively and bustling attractions cater to young adults looking for a hip city to party, the truth is Barcelona is as well equipped to serve the fickle tastes of the youth as any other city; making a memorable family holiday a very realistic expectation.

The city’s unique ability to preserve antiquity and history while still staying contemporary offers a wide range of activities. You may spend the day exploring the Picasso Museum or any one of the famous Gaudí attractions and then head off for a relaxing time at the Ciutadella Park.

Museums aside, Barcelona has an amazing array of family friendly attractions. It boasts one of the largest aquariums in the world, as well as a breathtaking amusement park on top of the highest point in Barcelona. So before you bore them with centuries of paintings and sculptures make sure to include a few of these suggestions in your itinerary.

The park can be easily reached by the Tibibus that departs from Plaza Catalunya outside of El Corte Ingles or by the Tibidabo funicular from FGC (L7) Av. Tibidabo.
